Buddy Rhodes has been manufacturing concrete countertops, furniture, tiles, fireplace surrounds and architectural elements for discriminating designers, architects and homeowners nationwide over the last twenty years. Buddy’s name has become synonymous with “designer concrete.”
Award winning ALKEMI is a SCS certified, LEED credits receiving, recycled surface material composed of post-industrial scrap waste (34% by weight—as certified—or 60% by volume). Made from fine flake aluminum milling scrap—which commonly burns up as a heavy smoke pollutant when exposed to conventional aluminum recycling—ALKEMI leaves no hazardous footprint.
IceStone is made from 100% recycled glass that is mixed with cement to create a highly durable, aesthetically beautiful and green concrete surface. ECO Counter Tops ECO™ by Cosentino is a durable surface made of 75% recycled content composed of post-industrial or post-consumer materials and is bound by an environmentally friendly resin which comes in part from corn oil. ECO by Cosentino is also an ideal substitute for natural or engineered stone.
Richlite® sheets come in a variety of colors and sizes to suit any design style in the kitchen, bathroom or office. The material is available through authorized dealers in three quarter inch to one and a half inch thick sheets up to five feet wide and twelve feet long. In addition, thinner backsplash material is available.
